I studied psychology at the University of Twente (main subject: Mental Health Promotion). Both my bachelor’s and master’s thesis were about the intervention Op Verhaal Komen (resp. quantitative and qualitative/narrative). After graduation I worked as a psychologist for Tactus (addiction care) and as a researcher/teacher the department of Psychology, Health and Technology (PHT). At the department I have been involved in the online intervention of Op Verhaal Komen and the Positive Educative Program. I wrote my PhD thesis about the Online Life Story Book, an intervention for persons with early dementia and their informal caregivers.

Currently, I’m a lecturer and predominantly involved in the master Positive Clinical Psychology and Technology. I’m an internship coordinator for the clinical internships and a teacher in the course Personal Reflection and Development. I feel it’s a privilege to guide students in their process and to see them grow.
