As a Research Grants Advisor at the University of Twente, I support researchers throughout the development of competitive research grant proposals. My role includes advising on funding opportunities, guiding proposal development, and helping researchers navigate both national and European research funding landscapes.
I am the UT contact person for:
- NL LO Nationaal Liaison Officers Overleg (NL-LO). HThe NL-LO is the consultation and advisory platform for Dutch universities on national research policy and research funding. It brings together experts in national competitive research funding from all Dutch universities. Representatives from the Dutch university medical centers (UMCs), the Dutch Research Council (NWO), the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), and Universities of the Netherlands (UNL) participate as permanent guests.
- EU LO European Liaison Officers. The EU-LO is the consultation platform for Dutch universities on the European research and innovation landscape and its funding opportunities. The network facilitates knowledge exchange, collaboration, and strategic advice related to European funding programmes, including Horizon Europe. EU LO consists of representatives from Dutch Universities, the Dutch university medical centers (UMCs), RVO, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), and Universities of the Netherlands (UNL).
