About Me

As part of the Faculty of Engineering Technology (ET), I research the integration of Solar Photovoltaic energy into the energy system - both from a technical and from a social perspective. My expertise includes PV integration using energy storage and electric vehicles optimization. Furthermore, I have performed research on the topics energy communities as well as policy analysis.

Next to that, I deploy teaching activities in the BSc program Mechanical Engineering (VU-UT program) and in the MSc programs Sustainable Energy Technology (SET) and Spatial Engineering. I'm involved as lecturer in the courses Building-integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) and Life-Cycle Analysis (LCA).
