Yacine Belkadi was born in Algiers, Algeria in 2000. He received his Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master's degree in Power engineering from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Boumerdes University, in 2020 and 2022, respectively. During his Master's, he worked on load flow analysis for AC Islanded Microgrids.
Since April 2024, Yacine has been working as a PhD candidate at Twente University within the "Luchtvaart in Transitie" project, developing Power electronics converters for high-speed turbo-compressors used in More Electric Aircrafts (MEA).
